April is one of the more striking bunnies we've seen in our shelter. She is covered with long, soft, luxurious white fur which is pure joy to touch and stroke. It is surprisingly easy to comb and care for, and we think she knows how beautiful she looks after a grooming session. April is still learning to trust people since her previous owners did not spend a lot of time playing with her or giving her attention. She needs to be handled with a little more care and gentleness than usual, but she is coming along very well. If you have the time and patience to help April understand that it's okay to trust people again, you will be rewarded with a rabbit who is beautiful inside and out.
Longhaired rabbits like April come with a grooming responsibility for anyone who adopts her. She requires regular combing and brushing to make sure her fur coat stays in tip-top shape.
